Our Online Shop remains open 

At present we only have a very limited number of staff working at the garden centre and unfortunately not all of our usual contact methods are available.  Many of the questions being asked are of a similar nature so we have prepared some Questions and Answers for you.

Are you open?
Following the Governments announcement both our garden centres at Burton Latimer and Elton are CLOSED until further notice.  We are however operating our online shop for local delivery.  Visit www.bosworthsonline.co.uk
Can I order online from you?
Yes you can.  We have an online shop available at www.bosworthsonline.co.uk offering local deliveries.  Due to the volume of orders deliveries are taking around 7 to 10 days from placing your order
Where are you delivering to?

We charge £5 for deliveries NN8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18,  and PE 5, 8 , 9.
We charge £10 for delivieries to NN2, 3, 6, 29 and LE 16
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to deliver to postcodes outside of those listed above.

Can you deliver to other postcode areas?

Due to the volume of orders we are receiving, it is not possible to add in further postcodes.  We do operate a set of postcodes for Gardening Products, and a wider range of postcodes for our furniture range.  If you feel you have a significant order and would like us to look at delivery, then please compile a wish list on our online shop and send it to us, we will then let you know if delivery is possible.

Where is my order?
There has been huge demand on our online shop with only a very limited number of staff currently working and we are currently working to around a 7 to 10 day delivery time from placing your order.   With very limited resources we ask that you only contact us if your enquiry is urgent. We are unable to specify a time and date for delivery, we are just working hard to get the goods to you as soon as possible.  Unfortunately we do not have the technology, time or available tracking software in our vans to keep you updated more accurately at this time.
My Neighbour/Family member/friend has received their goods before me, yet I ordered before them?
We are picking goods in Four different areas before the order goes to dispatch; Shop Goods, Garden Centre Plants, Nursery Plants (including Seasonal Plants) and then Compost.  Any orders with goods from only One area will go through our system quicker than orders with goods from several areas, this can mean some orders get dispatched in a quicker timeframe than others.
Some of my goods are missing - what do I do?
This could be because some of your plants, particularly seasonal plants, are not ready yet, and they will be with you as soon as they are ready.  We do try and inform you if this is going to happen.  Due to the speed with which we have had to implement our online systems, we do have the occasional ‘glitch’, so if you have a problem with your order, please contact us via e mail (in[email protected]) and we will deal with your query.
Can I Click and Collect my order?
NO.  Following the governments guidance we do not wish to encourage unessential travel and at this time we can ONLY offer contact less delivery in our own vehicles.
Can I pay Cash on Delivery?
For safety the only payment method available is using your credit or debit card online while placing the order.
Do you offer contactless delivery?
Yes we do.  The safety of both you, our customer, and our staff are of priority and we are respecting social distancing when delivering.   Your order can be left at the front door, driveway or other safe place.  Please indicate when placing your order.
I'm a Reward Card Holder - what happens to my vouchers?
Vouchers and Reward Card Cheques have been extended until 30th September 2020 and you will be able to use them in store up to this date (subject to stock).   If we remain closed, this date will be extended further. 

This also applies to your Birthday Reward. Currently we have stopped production of our Reward Card mailer and Birthday Rewards.  If your birthday falls during our closed period do not worry.  We will be sending these out once we re-open

How do I use my Reward Card Vouchers / Cheque online?
Unfortunately this is not possible only due to the fact that our Reward Card system and Online system use different technology that is not linked and it is not possible at the current time to investigate a way to do this.  We have therefore extended the use of the vouchers and cheques to 30th September 2020 when we hope to have re-opened.
Will I earn Reward Card points for my online purchase?

Yes.  As long as you fill in your Reward card number, and ensure it is correct, during the checkout process.  We cannot retrospectively add points to your account.

Are you throwing plants away?
There have been reports in the media recently of garden centres disposing of stock.   We are lucky in that we have our own on site nursery and are able to tailor demand to the current situation, and as such have no plans to dispose of plants.   Within the small team that are working, the plant stock is being cared for as normal, keeping everything to the quality that you would expect from us.
When are you re-opening?
We are having to follow Government guidance on this and at present there is no indication as to when the lockdown will be lifted.  We look forward to being able to welcome you back through our doors but only when it is safe to be able to do so.
Can I return plants or goods for refund?
Yes.  If you let us know, we will collect any unwanted items – from the original delivery address – and refund you.  Plants must have been maintained and be in a sellable condition in order for us to refund you.  Requests for refunds must be made within 24 hours of delivery.  Collections are usually made within 7-10 days of the request.
